Garden shredders and chippers are indispensable helpers in effective and ecological garden cleaning. These machines can be used for processing all garden waste of vegetable origin.

Blade shredders

• A two-blade disc with which these machines are equipped will shred the material into small pieces. The resulting shredded material is, depending on the type of shredder, collected into a plastic box or textile bag. The shredded waste decomposes in a composter much faster, or it can be used as mulch around decorative flowers and shrubs.

Woodchippers

• Use a gear cylinder for processing the waste. The resulting crushed material is larger and can be used in the garden as mulch or for heating. Woodchippers standardly come with overload protection and reverse running, which is necessary for releasing a blocked branch in the crushing mechanism.
