The two-disc circular saw is a revolutionary tool that can handle any wood or metal. The principle of the two-disc circular saw is based on two cutting discs that rotate in opposite directions, which distinguishes the tool significantly from common circular saws with one cutting disc. While cutting disc tooth size is very important for cutting different wood materials using circular saws, this is not really an issue for two-disc saws – both discs rotate against each other and slowly cut off the material (metal shavings are formed when cutting metal materials). Another amazing feature of the two-disc saw is the stability of the cut material, which is again ensured by the two discs rotating against each other. In other words, the cut material remains in a stable position during cutting – it does not tent to slide away or even be thrown away by the discs. This tool can be successfully used for example when installing a roof light in a metal roof or when cutting staircase banisters that need restoring. In these cases the two-disc circular saw can be used instead of an angular grinder, only without the great amounts of dust in the interior. The shavings can then be vacuumed using one of the vacuum-cleaners that we offer. When cutting metal materials, lubricating sticks must be used to minimize wear and tear of the cutting discs and to protect the cut material.
